DUQUESNE WHISTLE

/JULY 2013/

Let's just hope the weather holds and I won't grill like a chicken any time soon, because now it is just beautiful here in Prague! Nevertheless, spring is the season I always look forward to, because  it's not too warm or cold. But I guess it's just a question of habit. In Vietnam when it's like twenty seven degrees, people there coplain it's cold haha.

Mmmhm, I'd seriously love to go to Vietnam now, explore my culture more deeply... Since I was born in the Czech Republic, I am adapted to local habits and I speak fluently Czech- much better than Vietnamese which is quite sad. Vietnam really is an amazing country with divine cuisine. If I could eat it all day every day for the rest of my life, I would!

I have been painting, baking yummy foods, listening to music and reading books at our garden this month. It would be such a pity to waste my time in front of the computer screen during the holidays, so I'm trying to go outside as much as possible. I went to a lot of interesting places and met a lot of new people. My computer deskop is full of recent pictures and videos that I am too lazy to upload here. So at least here's a random post with random photos about random Thursday with my friend Sasha.

After couple of weeks, we finally met at our favourite Café Rybka near the National Theatre. It was our hot spot during the school year, literally our second home. We were there nonstop, slurping our coffee or kofola, eating delicious baked baguettes. And we could seriously be able to sit there for hours, listening to the music, talking, drawing and stuff. It was nice to be there again after quite a long time...

Then we went to the beautiful island in the very heart of Prague - Žofín on the Vltava river.

Pigeon's everywhere! Random fact #1:

I love trying to scare away  pigeons whenever they are coming around.
